We offer brand new Marco Polo camper vans from Mercedes. Each of the vans has its own name. And also 4 berths, a fully integrated kitchen with refrigerator, a 2 gas stove, a sink and, just in case, a parking heater and 4-wheel drive.
Yes. The Marco Polos will fit in any parking garage with a minimum height of 2 meters.
Each vehicle is insured with third party liability and fully comprehensive insurance. The deductible is CHF 1'000.- per claim (insurance EASY). You can reduce this to CHF 500.- (insurance RELAX) or CHF 250.- (insurance ZEN).
We charge a handling fee of CHF 100.- per claim.
Of course! That's why we named some vans after our kids. The vans are suitable for families with up to two children. However, we recommend not to take 5 cuddly toys per child on board, so that you are not constantly reshuffeling your belongings. And because we love children, the child seats are also included.
No. With VanVan a complete kitchen equipment for 4 people is included. So you have pots, bowls, children's dishes, cutlery and bottle opener as well as espresso machine (Bialetti), sponge, dish towel and detergent on board. You'll also get 100% biodegradable soap for hands/body and shampoo from our partner Soeder* - all produced locally and sustainably in Zurich. And to make sure you start your first morning bright and early, our partner Stoll Kaffee will pack freshly roasted coffee in the van.
The vans are ready to go in the afternoon between 14-18h. The returns from 9-11h in the morning. The exact times you choose during booking.
The Marco Polos are 1.97 m high, 2.25 m wide (with exterior mirrors) and 5.14 m long. With the roof tent up, the vans are 2.84 m high. Or in other words: You have a lot of space and still remain nicely maneuverable.
Rental prices per night
Low season: from CHF 129.- (November-March)
High season: from CHF 179.- (April-October)
Plus the one-time service fee of CHF 199.-.
All prices incl. 7.7% VAT.

Discounts
Van you later: -5% if you book at least 15 days
Holy Van: -10% if you book at least 22 days
The total price is calculated from the number of nights booked, the one-time service fee and any additional services (insurance packages, barbecue, camping toilet, bike rack, etc.). There are no hidden costs, but unlimited kilometers, so you can enjoy your vacation exactly as you wantn to.
So that your booking does not become more and more expensive due to countless extras, we already pack as much as possible into the daily rate. All kilometers, all child seats, great kitchen equipment, fitted sheets, 1x second driver and the basic insurance are included. In addition, we pack you fine surprises from our partners in your VanVan. In other words: You can just book and go!
The service fee covers the vehicle preparation as well as the handover and return of the van. This way, we guarantee that you always get a well-maintained vehicle.
The minimum rental period is 3 nights, no matter if high or low season. You can choose which day you’d like to pick up and return your van (any day except Sunday).
Generally, all kilometers are included. Of course, everything has its limits and so we trust in a fairness policy at VanVan. If you drive to the North Cape and back in 2 weeks then please contact us to arrange a deal.
Cancellations more than 59 days before the start of the rental period will be charged with a handling fee of CHF 50.-.
59-15 days before the start of the rental period 50% of the total rental price is due.
For cancellations 14-0 days before the start of the rental period, the entire rental price (including extras and service fee) must be paid.
